1.4460 is duplex low-carbon steel resistant to inter crystalline corrosion, fatigue corrosion, crevice corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion. It exhibits excellent resistance to chlorides and, in addition, is susceptible to mechanical processing. It is characterized by high strength, hardness and good plasticity.
